Prompto wants to see if the same things that happened the previous trip will happen again, show the lake to the new people from home, and possibly check out the island/sandbar on the far shore. All five of them are battle capable and they'll be carrying along camping supplies, food, etc. in Noctis' ever-useful armiger storage. And earplugs, just in case.
