Bruce can get inside the hull— if he does some climbing and squeezing through rusted holes. It's not a comfortable journey. All he'll find in the lower part of the old boat are the remains of wooden barrels, all broken up and strewn about. Up in the cabin is the ship's old log, but there's not much of note. Just a lot of weather reporting, records of travel distances, fish caught. Seems the fisherman who owned it had more and more trouble finding a catch as time went on, eventually going whole trips without a bite. And then, at the end, a short sad paragraph about the ship running aground.
If he's looking for it, the ship does still have its engine, rudder, and propellers, but the whole system doesn't seem to be anywhere near working condition.
Back with the dog spirit, the big beast leans down to give the Unversed's head a little lick on the top. Like a mother grooming a puppy. It then glances over toward Vanitas, tilting its head slightly once more, as if to ask what he's doing, or why he's there.
