It works as far as getting Elena to the lighthouse, that is. Unfortunately, during the package's return trip to the post office, one of the forest spirits guarding the barbed wire fence will catch on to the tiny bit of light trickling out from the holes in the box. They tear open the box and, after seeing its contents, smash Elena's lantern into oblivion.
Elena is dead, but not before getting a chance to see the lighthouse and meet Robin herself. Worth it? Shrugs! Please be sure to submit Elena's death to the death page.
