there's a lot of good content that can go on between current players and new players with the proper incentive, and it almost seems to degrade or de-incentivize that invitation to current players to engage with prospectives by saying, hey, your log tags are half-time wasted, as much fun as you might be having.
not that the mods have an intentionally poor attitude about it — i know the goal is to make sure players are actually playing IN the game — but that's how it might ultimately shake out? especially when you compare the first tdm to this last one. granted, people going in knew there were a select number of spots, and not every tdm is gonna be wild like our opener, but you probably understand what i mean.
would you be willing to consider this option?
do other people have thoughts on this?
please do unscreen for anyone else who might want to weigh in. ♥

We want to clarify that our intention was never to imply that TDM log threads are a waste of time or to discourage current players from playing on the TDM. On the contrary, by allowing players to use TDM threads for AC in the first place, our goal is to encourage a welcome wagon for prospective players.
That said, given that this game relies on a relatively small playerbase to push the plot forward, we do need to prioritize encouraging players to, yes, play within the game. We've considered some alternative ways to allow TDM comments to be used for AC while still pushing players to engage with the plot as well, and ultimately, we decided allowing them to count as network comments was the most straightforward solution.
We'll still unscreen your comment and we're happy to listen to other players' input on this, for sure! But, at this time, we're going to stick with our original decision. Thank you again!
