GACHA MACHINE

After the events of August's party, the Librarian had gone back and grabbed a peculiar-looking machine from the bonfire, dragging it back over towards the Village. It's not all that flashy looking a machine; rather, it's rusted, some of the lightbulbs shattered, the paint scratched away. It makes the new, yellow-white piece of paper taped carefully to the front all the more noticeable.

There are written instructions there, carefully scrawled. It being the Librarian who wrote them, there's a lot of symbols in place of words, and honestly, it's really more of a tentative grasp on literacy going on here. But with a bit of thinking, you can figure it out:

1. Insert an offering (any offering) into the coin slot
2. Answer the riddle
3. ??
4. Prize!!

There's an array of prizes. Some are useful, some less so. But you'll never know if you don't try, and it might just be worth the effort. Unfortunately, it only responds to people once a week— meaning you can only get four prizes a month! But given the prizes, four might just be overwhelming enough.

[This machine looks a little sad and he feels sad for it. Maybe he can try to fix it up at some point. But for now, he's seen people feeding things into it and is going to try himself. He has no money but a small piece of scrap metal that's been riding around in his pocket might work, right? He'll feed that into the machine.]

[It's such a sad machine, come give it a new coat of paint. But that metal is perfect! The machine lights up, a sad little tune plays, and a card is spit out.]

I have no feet to dance, I have no eyes to see, I have no life to live or die but yet I do all three. What am I?

[Oh boy, a riddle. It's a good thing Prompto doesn't need to solve it to pass anything, because he honestly doesn't know the answer at the moment.

He wanders off and returns several hours later, he comes back with an answer scribbled on the card:

And he's about to slide it in when he has second thoughts. No feet but dances, no eyes but sees, no life but lives or dies...hmm. Then he heavily scribbles out what he wrote, scribbling
